At what point do you pull the pin on load development because the results arn't up to your expectations?
When is it time to try a new powder/projectile combo ?
What group size is realistic in your hunting or target rifle ? ๐ค

For a target rifle the groups have to be pretty much a one hole group at 100 yds. Your overall groups at longer ranges won't allow anything much bigger if you want to be competitive. Sometimes, despite my best efforts and powder and bullet selection, I cant get there. At that point it's time for me to start ladder testing a different powder/bullet combination.
For hunting loads, they need to be at least 1 - 1.5 moa at 100 yards.
